Coming soon to ReganRides

Hello & welcome to a few new members on the blog in the past couple of weeks. We have been busy making sure the latest GPX files are uploaded & available for you, both for NZ & here in WA. The winter weather has caught up & a wet Sunday sees me taking the time to share what is coming soon to ReganRides.

Part 2 of our first camping weekend is out this Wednesday featuring a favourite stop at Donnelly River Village for coffee & a wildlife encounter. Following that we have a ride through the Bowelling State Forest we took on 27th July. We had a fine Saturday & an area of trails we haven't explored yet. We found a lake, excellent trails & tried to take a shortcut which did not work out as well as hoped.

There will also be a new video from the Regan Rides garage as a parcel landed from the US which required fitting to the bike. This involved a late night and confirmed that install/how to videos are not as fun to record as our normal riding content.

After that we will have the final videos from our NZ tour in February ready to go, featuring a tour from Tuatapere through western & northern Southland back to Central Otago, another day of iconic Central Otago gates & a Nevis ride to finish out the trip. We have loved looking back on this trip & putting together the footage, so many highlights for a 2 week ride.

NZ Wildlife - close call

Now it is time to start planning routes for our next trip back, we hope to get back to Dunedin & head north through to Christchurch, with plans to explore the Banks Peninsula & inland to the Ashburton Lakes area. Keen for any recommendations as this is an area of the South Island we are not as familiar with. Let us know if there are any "must-ride trails" in these areas to help with the planning.

Thanks for reading, hope you are enjoying the content over on the channel & the weather starts to warm up soon so we can all get back out on the trails.
